Healing Starts Here. Find Strength. Move Forward.

Joseph Gleed

Meet Joseph Gleed, LCSW, CCTP, CGP

Co-Founder | Complex Trauma Specialist | Clinical Director

For over 20 years, I’ve worked with veterans, first responders, and high-stress professionals, helping them navigate trauma recovery, PTSD, chronic pain, and complex mental health challenges.

As an Army veteran and former undercover operator in anti-human trafficking efforts, I bring a deep, personal understanding of high-impact trauma and the toll it takes. My experiences have shaped a grounded, compassionate approach to care—one rooted in trust, safety, and transformation.

I’m a Certified Trauma Specialist, Certified Grief Professional, and EMDR-trained therapist. My work draws from evidence-based practices, including EMDR, somatic therapy, and Trauma-Focused Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (TFACT), to break cycles of pain and support deep, lasting change.

In addition to my clinical work, I teach in the Department of Social Work at Utah Valley University and provide continuing education for mental health professionals nationwide—sharing tools and trauma-informed practices that improve care across the field.

At Renova, we don’t just treat symptoms—we help people heal, rebuild, and thrive. Whether you’re dealing with trauma, grief, or chronic stress, I’m here to walk alongside you as you reclaim your life with purpose and strength.

Meet Brittany Badger Gleed, PhD, MCHES

Co-Founder | Director of Wellness Strategy & Education

For nearly 20 years, I’ve worked at the intersection of public health, education, and wellness—supporting individuals, families, and communities through programs that build resilience, connection, and long-term well-being.

As a former faculty member in the College of Health at the University of Utah, I’ve taught and trained the next generation of health professionals while also leading workshops and continuing education for providers across the country. I’m a Master Certified Health Education Specialist and certified Mental Health First Aid Instructor, passionate about making trauma-informed care more accessible and practical for everyday life.

My work spans employee wellness, collegiate health promotion, disordered eating, substance use, mental health, and integrated systems of support. I specialize in designing strengths-based programs that uplift people as they navigate real-world challenges—and I’m currently completing certification as an Intuitive Eating Counselor to expand body-inclusive care.

At Renova, I help individuals and organizations move from surviving to thriving—one relationship, one training, and one conversation at a time.

Amaya

Meet Amaya Hoglund, MSW, CSW

Mental Health Counselor

My work as a therapist is deeply personal to me—grounded not only in clinical training but in a lifelong belief in the strength people carry, even when it’s buried beneath fear, pain, or silence. I specialize in working with survivors of trauma, especially those who have experienced various forms of interpersonal harm such as domestic and sexual violence, stalking, familial abuse, etc. These forms of harm are often isolating, but I want you to know that you don’t have to carry them alone. I specialize in EMDR and incorporate several other modalities, including Somatic Therapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT) — while never losing sight of the human in the room. Therapy with me isn’t about fixing you; it’s about honoring what you’ve already survived and helping you reconnect with parts of yourself that may have gone quiet. I work with teens and adults of all identities and support and advocate for LGBTQIA+ and BIPOC communities, ensuring inclusive and equitable care for all individuals. Many of my clients come to me when they’re tired of holding it together and are ready to start healing, even if they’re not sure where to begin. I bring steadiness, humor, and deep respect into the therapy space. You set the pace—I’ll be with you every step of the way.
